In the Sept/Oct issue of BooksIreland magazine, Christine Breen, author of HER NAME IS ROSE, (St. Martin’s Press) was asked to write an ‘Opinion’ piece about the challenges of a debut novelist at 60. “To complete a novel, have it published, and reach book stores is achievement at any age. There are many hurdles to leap. It takes stamina, self-belief, somewhat of a thick skin, and a good bit of luck. Consider the journey of the salmon. It’s a miracle.”  Read more here…
