Our Daily Writing Resolutions – 18th January 2016

The Prime Writers’ Daily Writing Resolutions: each day in January we are featuring a real writing goal that one of the Prime Writers is working on this year.

Today’s three-part resolution is from Jason Hewitt, author of The Dynamite Room and Devastation Road:

1) To learn from my mistakes in writing my first two novels and write a better third one.

2) On ‘writing days’ to work 8 till 4 and then go to the gym. (Rather than going to the gym in the morning and not starting work till 10 or not doing any exercise at all).

3) To not open my emails or any social media until lunch time. I work best in the mornings but recently I’ve spent my most mentally productive working hours doing the most unproductive things. If any of you spot me on Twitter or Facebook before 1pm please feel free to give me a virtual slap! 🙂
