The Prime Writers’ Daily Writing Resolutions: each day in January we are featuring a real writing goal that one of the Prime Writers is working on this year.
Today’s resolution is from Sarah Todd Taylor, author of Arthur and Me:
My resolution for 2016 is to not get distracted by too many new projects. It’s far too easy halfway through a project to get a new idea and want to run after it, leaving the project that I’m supposed to be working on. New ideas are great and always exciting, but this year I’m going to buy myself a new box file and if I get thoughts about other projects I’m going to scribble them down and put them away till whatever project I’m working on is finished. Honest. Hmm…now, that gives me an idea…..
