It’s Claire Fuller‘s turn to tell us a story in fifty words…
She’d been named after her dead Grandmother, a woman she’d never known and a name she’d always hated. It couldn’t even be shortened without everyone laughing. April: damp wool and boiled sweets, wrinkled tights and bath salts.
When she had children of her own she named them Ivy and Maud.
